Daniel Onyango, musician and Nyatiti player, is part of Kenya’s new generation of Nyatiti players. Inspired by musicians such as Ayub Ogada, Nyamungu and Ogwang Lelo he has brought the Nyatiti to the younger generation fusing traditional instruments with modern urban sounds.
Amazed by the beautiful sounds of the Nyatiti and its traditional storytelling Daniel explores and experiments to create an intergenerational dialogue through Nyatiti.
